Last night I attended the very exiting launch of Blue Mountains and the Western Suburbs newest Magazine, Brave. Brave is a new magazine put together by a wonderful group of women, to celebrate and support women in business. I was so pleased to have been asked to shoot the cover and I also had an article included. My article is something that I feel quite strongly about. Women being photographed. Knowing how to find a photographer that you can trust to capture you well. We’ve all had an awful photo taken of ourselves, but that should not turn us off having our photo taken. It would be very sad if you didn’t leave behind beautiful portrait for your children, grandchildren and great grandchildren to cherish.
Big congratulations to Andrea and all the team who helped put this first edition together, it looks amazing and I think all women are going to enjoy Brave. If you haven’t already checked out Women with Altitude you can do here. Its a wonderful supportive networking group, where everyone is welcome!

So as I say in the article, do some research, find a photographer you can trust, and book in. Take the empowering step towards you having a portrait of yourself that you can be proud of.
Oh and if you want to choose me! as it says in the article book in prior to the 31st of July, mention the article and I’ll include a matted print valued at $65.
I also shot the cover! We had such a great time shooting this, hard to convince people we were really working Image may be NSFW.
